Tell Congress to Oppose The Blocking Act

Keep generic drug prices low for patients.

Congress is considering legislation that, if enacted, would put your access to more affordable generic medicines at risk. The problem is that The BLOCKING Act (H.R. 938) would weaken the 180-day exclusivity incentive for generic manufacturers to compete against a high-cost brand-name drug (first generics). A recent study found The BLOCKING Act would increase prescription drug costs for patients by $1.7 billion for each generic delayed!

Tell Congress to #OpposeBlockingAct, promote competition, lower prescription drug costs and protect patient access to safe, more affordable generic medicines.
