Don't Jeopardize Generics. Tell Congress to BLOCK 205!

The Lower Health Care Costs Act of 2019 puts patient access to more affordable generic medicines in jeopardy by weakening the sole incentive that helps bring generics to market sooner: a 180-day period of exclusivity to the first generic company that files its application with the FDA and challenges a patent protecting an expensive brand drug.

If this incentive goes away, those patents will stay in place and patients will have to wait longer to get the generic medicines they need. Tell Congress to BLOCK 205 to protect the 180-day incentive so American patients can rely on the ready availability of safe, effective and more affordable generic drugs.
